Where are my saved colors stored?
Dab stores captures, history, palettes, and related settings locally using Chrome extension storage. No Dab account is required.
Why can’t Dab scan a certain page?
Chrome prevents extensions from injecting scripts into some protected pages, such as Chrome's own internal pages and certain store pages. Try Dab on a normal website tab instead.
Does Dab upload the page I scan?
No. Page scanning and element inspection are performed for the active page to produce the requested color information. Dab does not upload those scans to a Dab server.
Can I export a palette?
Yes. Saved palettes can be copied as a HEX list, CSS variables, or JSON.
